I got Haru's server to build. I just need to debug it extensively tomorrow and migrate it to the latest client.

This should give me a better idea on how I should approach the design of the server, and what I need to focus on to improve the experience for modders.

A couple of things I should say about Haru:

– User setup will be much easier; no need to install redistables

– Modding will be unified: modding the server and client is the same process.

– Minimalism over accuracy: Haru will only include the very minimum required, the rest should be implemented by mods.

Overall modding and using Haru will be a bit different, but it will be easier to maintain and update the project.
