The AIs behave tactically.
They deploy suppressive fire to immobilize enemies,
and, unless flanked, they split into groups of two or more to attack enemy flanks.
If necessary, they may attack the flank alone, but if unsuccessful, they return to their squad and wait for another opportunity.
The AIs fire from their respective formations, attempting to fire from as many positions as possible.
Snipers, in particular, strive to provide support fire from behind their squad members whenever possible.
Compared to friendly PMCs, AI squad members are no longer gun-toting scarecrows that follow the user around.
